Transport

There are bus stops within 200 metres of the buildings serving all surrounding areas. Train services are available at Birmingham Snow Hill Station which is approximately 1500 metres away. New and Moor Street Stations are also located nearby.

Car Park and Drop Off

Due to the City Centre location on Corporation Street there is no drop off facility or on-street parking available. There is an NCP Car Park at Albert Street and building users can obtain a discount Car Park exit ticket on leaving the location. Londonderry NCP Car Park is also located nearby.

Access at Entrance

The Entrance to Maple House is accessed via manually powered automatic double doors leading directly into the main building reception lobby. The door activation button is positioned at an accessible height for all users.

Reception

The Main Building Reception is staffed from 7:00am - 7:00pm Monday to Friday. There is a lowered section of the counter available. Staff will direct visitors and delegates to the appropriate floor or the etc venues Reception on the 1st floor.

Located on the 1st floor, the etc venues Reception is staffed between the hours of 7:30am and 4:30 pm. The Reception area is accessed directly from the passenger lifts/ stairs and offers open plan access to the Restaurant/ Bar area. There is an accessible lowered section of the reception counter available.

Facilities

The Restaurant/ Bar is located directly off the Reception Lobby and offers delegates a wide range of hot/cold food and drink. All counters are self service and staff will assist visitors/ delegates as and when required. Seating is provided in a range of heights and styles to suit all users.

There are accessible toilet facilities located on each floor for use by delegates/ visitors only. The accessible toilets are located close to main facilities within the building.

There are conference rooms located on both the 1st and 2nd floors. Seating can be adapted to suit the requirements of the client or delegates. Seating plans include boardroom and theatre style.

Access to All Areas

Located within the Main Building Reception Lobby, the passenger lifts offer access to all upper and lower floors. The lift doors open to an accessible width and all interior and exterior lift control buttons are located at an accessible height for all users.

There are 3 steps leading up to the Main Building Reception Lobby. In addition there is a wheelchair platform lift available for use by a wheelchair user and up to one companion. The stairs to all upper floors are located to the left of the passenger lifts within the Reception Lobby.
