Public Transport

Buses travelling towards the City Centre stop along Harborne Road. If coming from the City Centre alight along Calthorpe Road. The Bus Stops are within 250 metres of the Hotel. There is a taxi rank on Harborne Road directly opposite the Car Park entrance.

Car Parking/Drop Off

The Hotel has a barrier controlled Car Park which extends to the front and side of the building. The Car Park is accessed from Harborne Road close to its junction with Hagley Road.

Two accessible parking spaces are provided at the closest point possible to the Hotel entrance.

Access into Entrance

The main entrance into the Hotel has a stepped approach. A central revolving door is flanked by two pass doors leading directly into the reception lobby.

A wheelchair platform lift situated immediately adjacent to the accessible car parking spaces provides level and direct access into the Hotel Reception lobby.

There is an alternative stepped entrance from Harborne Road into the Hotels Bar and Restaurant. Level access into the facility can be gained from within the Hotel via the platform lift at the main entrance.

Access To All Areas

Passenger lifts located adjacent to the reception lobby provide access to all floors of the Hotel with the exception of the Spa and Health club on the lower ground floor. A stair lift is available to the lower ground floor.

Most of the key facilities within the Hotel are on the ground floor of the building which has level access to all areas.

Reception

The Hotel reception desk is situated in a lobby area immediately to the right upon entering the building. Seating is provided in the reception area.

Accommodation

The Hotel has accessible rooms available with en-suite baths. Alternative style ensuite bathrooms have accessible walk in type showers.

The Hotel offers accessible bedroom accommodation most of which having adjoining rooms. En-suite bathroom facilities are available in two styles one with baths and the other with a walk in shower. It is advisable to discuss access requirements and room layout with the Hotel directly when booking.

Bars

The Hotel Bar is on the level ground floor. There is ample seating to suit all visitors and table service can be provided.

Restaurants

The restaurant is on the ground floor adjacent to the Bar area. Table service is provided.

Health Club

The leisure facilities including the swimming and spa pools and gymnasium are on the lower ground floor of the Hotel. A stair lift provides access to the lower ground floor.

The Hotel has a fully equipped Gymnasium.

The swimming and Spa pools are on level access from within the leisure club reception area. There are steps down into the swimming pool and the Spa pool is of sunken design with built up sides again with steps into the pool itself.

There is a dedicated accessible changing area situated in the reception area of the leisure facilities. Accessible showering, locker and toilet facilities are provided.

Business Facilities

The Hotel has a variety of function rooms located on the ground floor and capable of accommodating both small and large groups. It is advisable to discuss access requirements with the Hotel prior to booking.

All of the usual facilities associated with business meetings and conferencing can be provided.
